What it is
Every lot of CJC-1295 (DAC) is tested by Decano Analytical Laboratories, an independent facility, using HPLC-DAD for both purity and identity confirmation. The Certificate of Analysis for the lot you receive is published on this page alongside the measured purity figure, appearance and lot number, so the material in hand is traceable to its own documentation rather than a representative sample.
Supplied as a lyophilised cake in a sealed vial. Store as directed on the label, keep sealed and protected from light and moisture, and allow vials to reach room temperature before opening. Questions about documentation or shipping are answered directly by our team before you order.
For laboratory research use only. Not for human consumption.
Research background
CJC-1295 with DAC was first described in the early 2000s, built on the GHRH(1-29) fragment with substitutions at positions 2, 8, 15 and 27 and a maleimidopropionic acid linker that forms a covalent bond with cysteine 34 of serum albumin. It appears in receptor binding and signalling work on the GHRH receptor, in cell-based assays tracking cAMP accumulation and downstream pathway activation, and in animal models where circulating growth hormone and IGF-1 concentrations are sampled over time. Stability and albumin-binding studies are also common, measuring how the conjugate persists in serum relative to the unmodified fragment. All such work is laboratory research; the material is not for human consumption.
What the certificate covers
The certificate names CJC-1295 (DAC) as the analyte and reports chromatographic purity by HPLC-DAD against the labelled compound, with the diode array data also serving to confirm identity. It records a visual appearance check on the lyophilised cake, covering uniformity, integrity and the absence of visible particulates. The purity figure, appearance description and lot number shown on this page are read from the certificate for the lot in stock, so check them against your own vial on arrival. HPLC-DAD and the appearance check are the only testing claimed; no sterility, endotoxin or elemental analysis is performed or implied. This material is supplied for laboratory research use only and is not for human consumption.
Supply and presentation
CJC-1295 (DAC) is supplied as a lyophilised cake in a glass vial, sealed with a rubber stopper under a crimped aluminium cap. The label identifies the compound, the fill quantity and the lot number, which is the reference that ties the vial to its own Certificate of Analysis. The material is sold strictly for laboratory research use and is not for human consumption or any other application.
